Vicem Yachts is proud to announce the successful world premier of the V46 IPS – the very first model of the new Vicem IPS line – at the Palm Beach International Boat Show (March 23 – 26, 2017).

This model is the first Vicem built in fiberglass/epoxy, in this size. Light and sturdy, the Vicem 46 IPS, with a beam of 14′,9”, has sufficient interior volume to allow the owner to choose between spacious two and three cabin designs. The yacht’s dimensions boast a LOA of 14.02m (46′) and a draft of 0.70m (2’4′)’ with a displacement of 18,000kg (39,683lbs.) at full load.

This yacht – designed by Vicem’s in-house design team – has a handsome classic look and provides a quiet, smooth ride, thanks to Vicem’s renowned superior design and construction techniques. The Vicem 46 IPS combines elegant looks with sportive lines and technology. With excellent use of exterior and interior design, the Vicem 46’ stands out from other yachts of the same length.

The primary aim when designing the 46 IPS was to create comfortable and luminous spaces. When coming aboard, you enter first into the bar zone with, a comfortable L-shaped settee. The lounge and cockpit are separated by a sliding door: when open there is no longer any separation and a single large living space has been created.

The lounge area offers comfortable seating to fully enjoy the entertainment systems, while the large side windows and front windshield provide excellent visibility and lots of daylight. For maximum comfort when under way, the helmsman has an ergonomic chair and the station is complete with up-to-date electronic instruments.

The importance of a side door to the lounge shouldn’t be underestimated as it considerably eases movement around the vessel, especially when mooring.

The interiors, all air conditioned, are quite spacious – this is thanks to the Volvo Penta IPS engines that allow for a smaller engine room – with obvious advantages for livability.

The standard layout for the sleeping area foresees two spacious double berth cabins and a functional open space galley.
The owner’s cabin has a queen size bed, ample storage space, an entertainment system and a private bathroom complete with shower. Through-hull windows provide excellent natural lighting.
The guest cabin is equipped with two single berths that can be joined to make a single queen-size bed, while the guest bathroom can also be used as a day-head.
The galley (down) is fully equipped for long cruising and comes with two electric burners, a microwave oven and ample storage space.

The flybridge version hosts a bar area with electric BBQ and refrigerator, in addition to the lounge area and the captain’s seat.

Powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 600 engines (2 x 435 HP provide 320kW @ 3,500rpm), the Vicem 46 IPS is easy to drive thanks to the extremely reliable Volvo Penta control system and the V-Type hard chine hull. Top speed is close to 30 knots, with a cruising speed of 26 knots.

With the joystick and dynamic stability system, the owner will be able to easily maneuver the yacht in tight spaces, and also leave the helm while the yacht maintains her desired position.

During her first sea trails, what most impressed was the incredible silence on board: at 25 knots, only 62 decibels were recorded.

Vicem Yachts 65 Flybridge
World debut of a timeless classic all-mahogany luxury yacht

Vicem Yachts is pleased to announce the new Custom 65’ Flybridge has successfully been launched.
If there is one word that describes the all-new 65 footer offering, it is spacious. With a beam of 18′,5” there is sufficient interior volume to choose between spacious two and three cabin designs, to offer luxurious galley-up or galley-down choices, or to add a convertible office or a dinette below. The dimensions boast a LOA of 19,8m-65′ and a draft of 1.60m-5’3” with 49,500kg-91.490 lbs. of displacement with full load.

A “modern classic” – the all new Vicem 65 Classic FB – is handcrafted from the finest materials available and considered to be the best in its class and size range. This yacht – designed by Vicem’s in-house design team – has a handsome classic look and provides a quiet, smooth ride because of Vicem’s superior design and construction technique. Vicem 65 Classic FB unveild during  the Palm Beach International Boat Show has a galley-up and the below deck offers 3 cabins plus an additional berth accessible from VIP cabin for an overall of 8 guests. This unique 2 in 1 cabin showcases the customizability Vicem offers.

Powered by 2X Volvo Penta D13-900 (2 x 900 HP – 662kW @2,300rpm) the 65 Flybridge it’s easy to drive thanks to the Volvo Penta control system and conventional shaft drive. At 10 knots a long range of over 1,000 NM is featured, while at 22 knots of cruising speed it goes to 350 NM. Performance goes up to 27 knots at maximum speed.

All Vicem Yachts are constructed of African and South American Mahogany and Epoxy resin. Mahogany is a renewable resource, reducing our carbon footprint. Also noteworthy, is the fact that Vicem Yachts are constructed in clean factories without the smell of styrene emissions found in polyester fiberglass factories. Every employee at Vicem is a qualified carpenter, designer or engineer who goes that extra mile to ensure the highest quality in their workmanship.
All wood on a Vicem hull and the keel, chine, sheer, frames, and beams are coated with epoxy resin serving as a moisture barrier. The exterior of the hull and interior of the entire bilge and engine room area is further coated with a layer of E-glass cloth and epoxy resin that is finished with epoxy fairing compounds, epoxy primers, and poly-urethane paint. Over 151 Vicem Yachts up to 107 feet have been built using this time-proven blend of modern and traditional construction methods.
The building technique used to create the 65 Flybridge is the same used for all Vicem Classic & Cruiser lines (Classic and Fly Bridge models, from 52’ to 80’) and the Cruiser models (from 68’ to 107’): the cold molded process. A millenary, unique construction technique which embodies all the construction methods of the Turkish historical marine tradition; a modern procedure different from traditional boat building. Based on engineered wood construction, cold-molding uses laminated mahogany (coming from managed forests) and a specific formulated epoxy resin to create the hull, decks and principal superstructures. This results in a stronger and quieter vessel with a smoother ride, providing natural insulation from humidity and noise.

Design “Wow Factors”
– The hight of the saloon and the cabins area is giving more space for the tall owner
– Instead of a crew room, a child room has been built as requested by the owner. Vicem designers team has created a very smart connection to the double bed cabin in order to have a junior family suit. Additionally the stairs have been used as an exit for the child room. This feature is particularly interesting if the child room is used as a crew space, for resale purposes extras. Just in case, the next eventual owner of this boat would like to have a crew on board, they can use this stairs for the captain private access with no direct contact with people living on the port side cabin.
– Standard guest cabin has two twin bed that can turn into a king size with an extra piece to put in the middle. This room also has a bunk bed with stainless steel stairs.
– Owner asked for a business working area at the galley space. Hand made stool and an integrated table have been built in-house by Vicem.
– Custom hand made ottoman and chairs inside the saloon area.
– Galley and all restrooms have marble floors and countertops.
– Custom stainless steel flybridge stairs has been conceived to offer maximum outside view from the saloon.
– Behind the helm seat the yacht has two 120cm long special drawers for extra storage.
– Evenly distribution of the air-condition canals.
– All high gloss varnished.

VICEM 46 METRES “MY VULCAN” ON WATER
VULCAN LINE FROM VICEM YACHTS WORLD CLASS QUALITY SECOND TO NONE
The impressive Vicem Vulcan 46 metres M/Y Vulcan is now on water. This is the most challenging project for the world famous Turkish arriving to megayacht production for the first time since 2010. Vicem is enlarging its horizons beyond mahogany construction into high-tech composite construction  with three  new sleek, fast yachts, including a 46m/151’ , 35m/118’  and 32m/105’  for its Vulcan Line. V46 metres Vulcan (ex Caprice V) was launched in July 2012 and V32 metres Bronko I was launched in November 2012. V35 metres will be launched soon in first semester 2013.
In order to continue with speeds in the 20 plus knots range, Vicem decided on Cored Fiberglass construction for this series. The first step was joining forces with Dutch naval architect/designer Frank Mulder  who has designed many well known fast mega-yachts worldwide. To utilize the state of the art in fiberglass yacht construction, Mulder specified Core-Cell  and Epoxy resin for the entire structure .
Core-Cell has the best characteristics of any core material for “off gassing”, insuring a finished hull and superstructure that can be painted in any color. The hull and superstructure are also post-cured with large heat blankets after lamination , ensuring a fair and smooth appearance with any color.
“We want a reputation as a builder of light, beautiful and fast hulls ” says Sebahattin Hafizoglu, Vicem Yachts Founder – Chairman of the Board of Directors . “Vicem is entering the super-yacht segment with serious ambitions  and with no compromise/highest quality building materials and technologies  that compare favorably to Northern Europe Shipyards.” The 46-metre super-yacht has involved Dutch naval architect Frank Mulder and noted interior design firm Art-Line Interiors . “On a boat this size, with such high expectations of performance, the choice of the ‘right’ naval architect was an important one. Nobody has as rich an expertise as Frank Mulder does,” says Hafizoglu. Vicem are so pleased with Mulder’s work that we are also building a 32-metre and a 35-metre to his designs.”
VULCAN 46 meters M/Y VULCAN
With this 46 meter yacht, Vicem decided to enter into the composite mega-yacht segment without making compromises. With the assistance of outstanding design firms such as Frank Mulder  for exterior and naval architecture, and Art Line  for the interiors, Vicem set out to build a 46 meter semi-displacement yacht which is lighter  and faster  than the industry standard, achieving 25 knots  as top speed, while maintaining high-efficiency  cruising and long range capability  of 4,000 Nm @ 12 knots , thus creating an extremely versatile ship. Art-Line Studio  designed the Vulcan 46m interior, bringing a new definition to the word luxury. A 460-ton  yacht, powered by twin 3,650 HP MTU engines , delivers efficient oceancrossing range at reduced speed. Her three decks plus Sun-deck  design provides outstanding elegance for the knowledgeable owner, and six cabins  of thrilled guests. Her signature open atrium design provides 45 feet of unbroken natural lighting, from the very top of the Sun-deck all the way down to the Lower Deck. The main deck’s Master Suite uses every inch of this yachts’ 30 foot beam, and includes a CEO’s office and a private gym. A graceful wraparound entry way leads to an inviting Jacuzzi and an arcing fullwidth head. Farther aft is the galley, a dining area for ten, and a relaxing lounge and a spacious upper lounge area. Its impeccable construction and craftsmanship, thanks to Vicem’s internal team of 400 specialized craftsmen and the RINA/MCA Long Range classifications , make this mega yacht a very serious contender in today’s mega-yacht arena.
“The Vicem 46 Vulcan – refers Gary Smith, Vicem of Americas  – is a fantastic design and is as fast as she is beautiful. The yacht design is a build with absolutely no compromises and only the best materials are used. The first completed vessels are simply a work of art! We are excited to represent Vicem’s entry into the mega-yacht world. The Vulcan line is quickly becoming recognized as an industry leader and we are proud to be part of the team.
THE VULCAN SERIES FROM VICEM
A world class, fast, light yacht for charter or private use, the Vulcan Series adds long range capabilities for ocean voyages together with an outstanding  and durable low maintenance exterior . Due to the latest design and construction techniques, interior volume has been increased  when compared to many other yachts in the same size range. Interiors are tailored to client requests  and can be fully integrated with exterior colors, styling and finishes  due to Vicem’s “total customization” attitude and superior construction techniques which allow finishing in dark colors and/or metallic painting. The Vulcan Line yachts are built in a state-of-the-art facility in Antalya , Turkey. Composite materials, applied with resin and sandwich techniques , are chosen to achieve the best possible strength-to-weight ratios.
All Vicem plants are clean, pleasant factories without unhealthy vapors  that exist in other yacht building factories that use cheaper polyester resins that are loaded with unhealthy styrene. Even the Vicem Classic and Cruiser lines utilize the more expensive and sophisticated epoxy resins in construction.
Integral tank construction  was also introduced with the new Vulcan series, which provides more internal room for accommodations and the ability to carry more fuel for oceangoing trips at lower speed. Frank Mulder designed fast hulls for this Vicem Vulcan series with a fine entry for rough sea conditions that are also very fuel efficient at slow displacement speeds . RINA and/or MCA compliance and certification is always available on any Vicem Yachts. On the Vulcan series RINA  and MCA  are part of the project, which brings Vicem to a new level for offshore cruising and chartering.
