Visioni contemporanee e giochi cinetici di sovrapposizioni per la collezione Primavera-Estate 2016 di Damiano Marini. Lo shoe designer romano punta su silhouette affusolate e fascianti realizzate attraverso l’intersezione di segmenti geometrici e forme arrotondate, superfici ruvide ed elementi glossy, colori pieni e tocchi metallici. È la tomaia a fornire lo spunto per esercizi di stile fra tradizione artigianale e avanguardia che si concretizzano negli intrecci dei sandali gladiator proposti anche in versione flat, negli stiletti-scultura e negli ankle boots dall’appeal dinamico e futurista, enfatizzato dalla scelta dei pellami – nabuk, camoscio, vitello lavorato a specchio, puntinato o stampato – e dalla variegata palette cromatica che spazia dai toni neutri del cipria, taupe e bianco ottico al rosso cadmio, vinaccia, acquamarina, camo e nero assoluto, per giungere infine alle nuance iridate del platino e dell’acciaio.

The Roman designer opt for a tapered wrap silhouette made through the intersection of geometric segments and rounded forms, rough surfaces and glossy elements, full colors and metallic touches. The upper becames the inspiration for stylistic exercises, poised between craftsmanship and avant-garde which materialize in the weave Gladiator sandals, in the sculptural stilettos and in the ankle boots. The dynamic and futuristic appeal is emphasized by the materials- nubuck, suede, mirrore or printed calf – and the color palette that ranges from neutral tones as blush, taupe and optical white to cadmium red, burgundy, aquamarine, camo and black, crowning to the iridescent shades of platinum and steel.
